Eligibility: The Polaris RANGER XP Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States, age 16 or older at time of entry. Void in Alaska, District of Columbia, Hawaii and where prohibited by law. Employees of Bonnier Active Media Inc. and Polaris Industries Inc. (collectively, the “Sponsors”), and their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively the “Sweepstakes Parties”) and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter or win. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

How to enter: Visit www.outdoorlife.com/rangerxp or www.fieldandstream.com/rangerxp and follow all online entry instructions to complete and submit the online entry form. Entries must be received between 12:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on July 15, 2009 and 11:59 PM (ET) on December 31, 2009 (“Sweepstakes Entry Period”). Limit: One entry per person per day. The Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify all entries tied back to an individual if he/she entered daily with multiple email addresses or under multiple identities. All entries and requests become the Sponsors’ property and will not be returned or acknowledged.

Prize and Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (“MSRP”):  One (1) Grand Prize: A Polaris RANGER XP (approximate MSRP: $10,799.00). Winner must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and insurance (if applicable) at the time the prize is awarded. Winner shall be required to present adequate personal identification prior to taking possession of prize. Winner is responsible for all travel expenses associated with picking up prize at a Polaris dealership closest to his/her primary residence (as determined by Sponsors). Winner will be notified when prize is available for pick up; which may take up to 120 days from date of order. Sponsors are not responsible for delays in delivery of the prize. If prize is not picked up within thirty (30) days of the date the prize is delivered to the Polaris dealership, the winner shall bear any risk of loss or damage to the prize, and after thirty (30) days the prize may be forfeited by the winner. MSRP is based on standard manufacturer package and does not include additional features/options. Winner is responsible for other options not expressly included and for title, license and registration fees, as well as all applicable tax liabilities. Selection of color of prize is at the sole discretion of the Sponsors. Prize is based on availability and certain restrictions apply. Upon delivery of the prize to the winner, Sponsors will be deemed to have awarded the prize to the winner with winner assuming full responsibility for the prize. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. 

Winner Selection: Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. Random drawing will be conducted on or about January 7, 2010 under supervision of an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding. Winner will be notified by email and/or mail and will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and a Publicity Release (“Affidavit”) within 10 days of date specified on notification, or an alternate winner will be selected. If Affidavit or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, it will result in disqualification, and the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner in a separate random drawing. If a winner is otherwise eligible under these Official Rules, but is nevertheless deemed a minor in his or her state of primary residence, winner's parent or legal guardian is required to execute affidavit on minor’s behalf. All taxes and any other incidental expenses on prize are the sole responsibility of winner. No substitutions are permitted except by the Sponsors who reserve the right to award a prize of equal or greater value if the prize is unavailable as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion. Prize is not redeemable for cash.  Prize is non-assignable and non-transferable. Winner is responsible for all federal, state, local and income taxes.

General Provisions & Limitations: Entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission for Sponsors to use winner's name, prize won, hometown and all versions of his/her likeness for online posting as well as any and all promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. Participating entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges and the Sponsors. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsors, the Sweepstakes Parties and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, representatives, agents and employees, from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with, either directly or indirectly: 1) the awarding, acceptance, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of prize awarded herein; or 2) participation in the Sweepstakes or any prize related activities, including but not limited to traveling to or from any prize related activity. Neither the Sponsors nor the Sweepstakes Parties make any representation concerning the appearance, safety or performance of prize awarded. Sponsors are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize. Winner acknowledges that the Sponsors, their parent companies, affiliates and all other companies concerned with this Sweepstakes and their agents do not make, nor are in any manner responsible for, any warranty, representations, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the quality, conditions or fitness of any aspects of the prize except that the prize shall be subject to manufacturer's standard warranty.

Privacy Policies: By entering, the information you provided may be sent to promotional partners identified in this promotion. You may be contacted by the Sponsors and/or any promotional partners with future promotional offers. Information provided by you to participate in this Sweepstakes is subject to the Sponsors’ privacy policies.

NOTICE TO ENTRANTS: In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the "Authorized Account Holder" of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. Authorized Account Holder means the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. The Sponsors are not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged or illegible entries; or (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsors on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of Sponsors and the independent judging organization, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Sponsors reserve the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from any sweepstakes it sponsors any person they believe has intentionally violated these Official Rules; and (ii) withdraw the online method of entry if it becomes technically corrupted, (including if a computer virus or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to conduct the Sweepstakes), and to select winner from among all eligible entries received prior to withdrawal.

For your safety: Avoid operating Polaris ATV’s or Rangers on paved surfaces or public roads. Never carry passengers unless the vehicle has been designed by the manufacturer specifically for that purpose. All passengers must be at least 12 years old, tall enough to grasp hand holds and place feet firmly on the footrests or floor. Riders and passengers should always wear a helmet, eye protection, protective clothing, and a seat belt (on Ranger vehicles). Never engage in stunt driving, and avoid excessive speeds and sharp turns. Drivers of Ranger vehicles must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver’s license.
